Our very own Mrs. Gina Holste, Reading Specialist, is the Northwest Region Teacher of the Year and one of nine finalists for the 2026 Burroughs Wellcome Fund North Carolina Teacher of the Year!
The winner will be announced this Friday, April 24th.
Show your support! Please join us in cheering on Mrs. Holste by wearing your VC Strong shirt, VC colors, or a Watauga County Schools shirt this Friday. We are incredibly proud of her representation of Valle Crucis and Watauga County Schools.
